Walt Disney Studios Canada will be offering a special sneak peak of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Monday July 7th, at 7:00 pm 

SilverCity Polo Park.

 

“Guardians of the Galaxy”: An IMAX® 3D First Look
will showcase 17 minutes of exclusive film footage!

 

We would like to invite the biggest Marvel fans to this exclusive event
and we know that Book Fair Comics is home to the best!

 

Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis.

 

 

Fans who attend this sneak peek will also receive a limited-edition collectible Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” IMAX poster!

In 1976, legendary Formula 1 racer Niki Lauda came face-to-face with death when his vehicle burst into flames after a collision. Despite suffering hellish burns (including the loss of his eyelids), Lauda chose to return to the racing circuit just six weeks later to compete with his English rival, James Hunt. This startling true story forms the backbone of director Ron Howard’s newest film, Rush.

Ron Howard directs Rush from a screenplay by Peter Morgan (Frost/Nixon). The movie stars Daniel Brühl (Inglourious Basterds) as Lauda and Chris Hemsworth (Thor: The Dark World) as Hunt. The supporting cast includes Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) and Olivia Wilde (Tron: Legacy).

Directed by Ziad Doueiri, THE ATTACK tells the story of Amin Jaafari, an Israeli Palestinian surgeon, fully assimilated into Tel Aviv society. He has a loving wife, an exemplary career, and many Jewish friends. His picture perfect life is turned upside down when a suicide bombing in a restaurant leaves nineteen dead, and the Israeli police inform him that his wife Sihem, who also died in the explosion, was responsible. Convinced of her innocence, Amin abandons the relative security of his adopted homeland and enters the Palestinian territories in pursuit of the truth.

THE ATTACK is adapted from Yasmina Khadra’s international bestseller of the same name and recently opened in the US to rave reviews.

The film is produced by Jean Brehat and Rachid Bouchareb with a screenplay by Ziad Doueiri and Joelle Touma and has screened at numerous festivals worldwide including the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival and the 2012 Telluride Film Festival.
